I hope that everyone had a lovely christmas and a happy new year.
Just a quick one. I wore this outfit a while back when I was popping out to do a bit of shopping.
My mum got the top in Tesco's F&F in a sale. It's actually mens, but for £3 who can complain.

Stand & Deliver
On the 30th of November I went and saw Adam Ant, The Good The Mad & The Lovely Posse. For anyone that doesn't know who Adam Ant is, he was a big pop/new wave star back in the 80's. His original band were called Adam and The Ants, known for songs such as Stand and Deliver, Prince Charming, Ant Music and Kings of the Wild Frontier.

Adam was known for his unique and iconic sense of style. His look was hugely influence by classical romantic looks and 16th century piratism, blended with a new wave/punk twist. I have always been in love with Adam, his music is so different from anything else, and its the same with how he dresses.
When I saw Adam last month he had this amazingly cool and sexy all girl band named Georgie Girl And Her Poussez Posse. The lead singer Georgina Baillie, had some of the most amazing stage outfits I have seen a a gig. Georgina is also backing vocalist for Adam's band too. Through out the night she probably changed into 6 outfits. And every one of them were as gorgeous as the next. She has a rockabilly, punk/ 50's edgy look. Most of her outfits consisted of PVC bralets and PVC pencil skirts.

Considering that Adam is now in his 50s. I think it is wonderful that he still touring and releasing new music. I was so close to him at the gig, I could have lent over and touched him, if there wasn't a barrier and big security guards. One of my favourite gigs so far. He has a new album out soon which I cannot wait to get my hands on.
Adam Ant, I love you.

Hong Kong Garden
Today I went out with two of my friends from college. It had been ages since I last saw them, so we all went of for a Chinese.
I ending up wearing my crop top, stripy pencil skirt and some black heels. I had to wear the heels, otherwise I would have felt too short compared to my 5ft 8 friends. (I'm only 5ft 4)
Top: Topshop £8
Skirt: Primark £8
Belt: Charity shop 30p
Hat: Play.com £5ish

Long Time No See
It's been a little while since I last blogged. I have been a little caught up with life. I've been doing overtime at work, which is exhausting. Recently I also moved in with my boyfriend, It's been 2 weeks now and I still have things to unpack.
Also not too long ago I saw the best live band in the world. MUSE!!! It was truly amazing.
So I thought I would share a few pictures with you.

Vintage Crop Top
Friday, on my way home from work, I ended up going into a few charity shops. Lucky for me I found a gorgeous little vintage crop top (hence the title). I wore it on Saturday, when my boyfriend and I went out for dinner. I wore it with my disco pants that I showed you in the last post and just some black shoes. Nothing too exciting.
This top is truly gorgeous. It has a white lace collar and the top itself is a sky blue in colour.
I only payed £2 for it. I think its one of my best finds, well along with the vintage fur coat I'm wearing in the second picture. I got this in a charity shop about a month ago. It was £5 but it is now my fourth fur coat. I guess its a good thing now considering its bloody freezing outside.
I need to go out and buy some nice chunky jumpers and woollies. I'm not prepared for winter yet.
Anyway, off to bed. I have an early start tomorrow. Night. Don't forget to wrap up warm.

Monday's Rain
Today, in Essex,
was a very rainy day but it was good. I didn't have to work! I ended up
spending the day with my Mum. Which was really nice. We went to a Chinese
buffet, for lunch, that was amazing. We ate as much as we wanted for £5! I will
be moaning when I step on the scales later this week though! I wore the dress I
got on Sunday, kept it simple and just wore it with a pair of tights and a
black belt.
DRESS: Charity Shop, £4.99
BELT: Charity Shop, 30p
BOOTS: Shoe Zone, £16.99
TIGHTS: Can't remember, £1-2ish
I do apologise for the awful picture. There isn't many places in my house I can get half decent lighting. ( Pictures of me in my last post were taken at my boyfriend's flat).
While I am here I would like to share with you some of my recent finds from the last few days.
Black Vintage Skirt: Charity Shop, £2.50
Green Cowboy Shirt: Via eBay, £3ish
The pleated skirt, that I found today in a charity
shop near where my boyfriend lives. I saw this and I liked it - but I was
scared that I would look like a school girl. I got home and tried it on and its
not too bad after all...once put with the right belt.
The shirt - I fell in love with it as soon as I saw
it and thought, for £3ish, it was a bargain. Until it got here. It has four
holes in and its missing a button so I'm not too happy about it. Time to have a
moan I think!
This is now my second pair of High Waist Disco
Pants. I got some red ones a few weeks ago and I love them. I think that high
waisted items suit me fairly well. They give me curves in the right places. Ha!
Anyway, back to work tomorrow, which means black
trousers and black tops all week. Exciting look...
Got much planned this week?

Lazy Sunday
Today was a little bit of a lazy day. Didn't get out of bed until about 11ish, which is great considering from tuesday until friday this week I need to be up at 5am to get to work.
Anyway today I ended up walking around the high street and having a little nose in some shops. This is what I ended up wearing.

Tie Up Blouse: Chairty Shop, £1
Biker Style Jeggings: Peacocks, £5
Leather Jacket: Charity Shop, £8
Boots: Shoe Zone, £16.99
Sunglasses: H&M, £4
I got the boots on saturday, I don't usally go into Shoe Zone but I was waiting for my boyfriend to get his haircut and I thought I would have a look to kill some time. I ended seeing these chelsea boots so I had to get them. They have a small heel too which is good for little me and I need all the help I can get! I was orginally going to buy a pair of chelsea boots online but they were £20 and it was also about £3 P&P. So I am very happy that I have saved some money. Yay!
I ended up walking into on of the charity shops today and stumbled across this. Its a burgundy peter pan collar dress originally from Topshop. (apologies for the awful picture) I don't have many tops or dresses with peter pan collars, even though I think they look so cute. I did pay a little more than I would normally in a charity shop, it was £4.99 but I knew if I didn't buy it i would end up regretting it.
I also got this ring from Peacocks. It was £1.75 in the sale, it was originally £3.50 would have never got it if it was still full price. I have a slight obsession with rings. I usually wear 2 rings on each hand daily. (Unless I am at work) I think rings make an outfit just a little bit more grown up and glamorous.
After my walk round the high street I ended up coming back to my boyfriend's flat and we enjoyed a nice dinner of sausages and mash. Omnomnom.
Did you enjoy your weekend?
